Joshua Finklea

Owner and President
My journey in the moving industry began at the age of 15, working a summer job in a warehouse for Mayflower Van Lines where my brother Terence Enget—our founder—was in management. I continued working throughout high school and college, learning every part of the trade. By the age of 21, I became a driver and continued building experience from the ground up.

After years of growing frustrations with how things were done in corporate America, Terry and I founded Golden Movers. Our goal was clear: to provide an exceptional moving experience rooted in integrity, excellence, and genuine care for people.

I'm a Christian, husband, and have four amazing children. My faith plays a central role in every area of my life—including how I lead this business. Every area of my company is influenced by Godly principles, and verses like Colossians 3:23, Philippians 1:27, Philippians 2:3, Micah 6:8, and Luke 16:10 aren’t just guiding words—they’re the foundation of our culture and our Core Values, which are: Unwavering Trust, The Golden Rule (treat others how you want to be treated), and Pursuit of Excellence.

With over 35 years of hands-on experience in the moving industry, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it takes to run smooth, efficient, and trustworthy relocations. Our claims ratio is well below industry standards because we take the time to do things right—and we never cut corners. At Golden Movers, we aim to earn your trust and ensure your experience is handled with excellence from start to finish.

My vision for Golden Movers is for people to be moved—not just physically, but by the deep love of Christ. It’s about more than moving boxes; it’s about serving people with care, compassion, and integrity every step of the way.

Our Mission: To deliver a trusted experience during your relocation by protecting and caring for both you and your treasured possessions.

Who We Are

Golden Movers LLC is a Christian-owned, independently operated moving company proudly rooted in the heart of Tampa Bay, Florida. What started back in October of 2001 with just the two of us and a single small trailer has grown—through faith, hard work, and a commitment to excellence—into a trusted name in relocation.

Now, more than two decades later, we operate multiple fully equipped units, serving families and businesses across all 48 continental states. From household moves to office relocations and warehouse transitions, we specialize in managing every aspect of the moving process with care, precision, and integrity.
We built this company on the principle of treating every customer the way we would want to be treated—honestly, respectfully, and with genuine concern for their needs. That mindset shapes everything we do. Our mission is simple: to provide a seamless, stress-free moving experience that reflects the values we live by. Whether you're moving down the street or across the country, we’re here to make sure your journey starts on the right foot.

At Golden Movers, we don’t just move belongings—we move lives, with heart.

Our Charities

We believe there is so much more to life than just making money. Nothing we have, we deserve. It’s all a blessing given from our Lord. Its because of this that we love giving back thru working with and supporting multiple charities. One primary local Charity that we partner with is New Life Warehouse. New Life Warehouse is a volunteer-led Christian nonprofit based in the Tampa Bay Area, dedicated to helping families and individuals rebuild their lives by providing donated furniture and household goods. Founded in 2020 by Stephanie Haile, the organization serves a diverse range of clients—including foster families, refugees, victims of domestic violence and trafficking, and those transitioning out of homelessness—by transforming empty living spaces into fully furnished homes. Since its inception, New Life Warehouse has furnished over 2,500 homes, offering not just physical items but also restoring hope and dignity to those in need. The nonprofit continues its mission with the support of community volunteers and donors. Golden Movers helps with deliveries, but also collects household goods and furniture donations from our clients, and transports them to New Life Warehouse, at no additional cost to the client. For more information or to get involved, visit their official website at newlifewarehouse.org.

Another Charity we partner with on a national level is Move for Hunger which helps fight hunger in America.

If you would like to help us in this endeavor, rather than moving your entire pantry, just simply donate your non-perishable food when you move. We provide the boxes and will drop it off at a local food bank that “Move for Hunger” partners with.
